There is no age limit for enjoying the world of Gemstones and Minerals. The many varied aspects of the hobby make it an ideal family activity.

Children are members of the future and are welcome at the Club, however, it is requested that younger people be suitably supervised, particularly on Field Trips. Use of the Club's equipment is available to members on a fee basis but a minimum age of 9 years applies for the operation of some equipment.

Southern Rockhounds Inc. is the only Gem and Mineral Club in the Southern area.

Subscription includes a bi-monthly Newsletter, which is collected from the Clubrooms. Visitors are welcome at the Club and it is suggested that two or three meetings be attended prior to joining. This is to ensure that the Club activities meet with your expectations.
